Danish buyers snap up Byala area villas All 18 villas in the newly-opened Sun Village holiday homes complex in the town of Byala, in the coastal Varna region, have been sold to Danish buyers. The 3 mln euro complex was financed by Scandinavian holding Goodlifebulgaria group. Seven additional villas will be added to the complex at a cost of 1.5 mln euro due to buyer demand, said Sun Village executive director Henrik Madsen.
Sun Village has 4.5 ha footprint and total built-up area of 3,500 sq m. The sharp gradient of the slope on which Sun Village is located allows the 18 houses to be terraced into the hillside to provide each one with a sweeping sea view. Asking prices for the 120-180 sq m villas start at 1,100-1,300 euro/sq m. Goodlifebulgaria group is currently developing a second holiday property, the Luna Bay Villa Resort near Obzor. The Byala mayoral office said that no less than 5 holiday homes communities are due to open in the area this summer.
